  • Kidney beans (30 per group)
  • Black-eyed peas (30 per group)

Activity Preparation

  • Students will be assigned in groups of 3-4. For each group, prepare a paper plate with 1 cup of playground gravel poured on top. In separate containers also prepare 30 kidney beans and 30 black-eyed peas per group.
