- Cotton balls (1 per student)
- Water
- Plastic water bottle with cap (1 per group)
- Hot water, Light, or heat source
- Science journals or paper (optional)
- Paper towels (as needed)
Activity Preparation
- Part 1 - Cloud Models – Gather cotton balls for every student and a shallow container filled with 1/2 inch of water for each student group.
- Part 2 - Water Cycle Models – Gather plastic water bottles with lids for every student group, hot tap water, and food coloring.
