  • 16-ounce clear plastic cups (3)*
  • Large plastic container (at least 2-gallon capacity)*

  • Gallon or liter jug
  • Water
  • Marker for labeling

Activity Preparation

  • Label the three 16oz clear plastic cups; “fresh water,” “icecaps and glaciers,” and “surface water.”
  • Collect two gallons of water to represent all the water in the world.
